Agreement

Macro Fitness is published by NovaForge Studios, LLC (“NovaForge Studios”, “we”, “us”). By downloading, installing or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

These terms apply specifically to Macro Fitness. Where they say something different from the studio-wide Terms of Service, these terms govern for this app.

Not medical advice

Macro Fitness is a tracking tool. It is not a medical device, and nothing in it is medical, nutritional or clinical advice. Targets, totals and training figures the app shows or calculates are estimates for your own reference.

Talk to a doctor or a qualified professional before starting a new diet or exercise programme, and especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, take medication, or have a history of disordered eating. Stop exercising and seek medical attention if you feel unwell. You are responsible for decisions you make about your own health and training.

Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Macro Fitness on Apple devices that you own or control, in line with the App Store Terms of Service. The licence does not transfer ownership of the software, and the app and its content remain ours.

Accounts and your data

The meals, macros, routines and workouts you record are yours. We claim no ownership of them.

• Your logs are stored on your device and sync automatically to your own private iCloud account, so they reach your other devices. NovaForge Studios runs no servers of its own and cannot see them.
• Keeping your own backups is your responsibility. Deleting the app removes the copy on that device; data already in your iCloud stays there until you remove it.
• If you join a squad, your display name and stats are shared with the other members of that squad through iCloud. Squads are optional and invite-only.
• You can delete everything at any time in the app, under Settings, then Delete Account. The Account Deletion page covers anything else you want removed.

Apple Health

Where Macro Fitness reads from or writes to Apple Health, it does so only after you grant permission, and only for the categories you approve. You can change or withdraw that permission at any time in the Health app on your device. The app is usable without granting Health access, though some features will not be available.

We do not use health data for advertising, and we do not sell it. The Macro Fitness Privacy Policy sets out how health information is handled.

Acceptable use

• Do not reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where that right cannot be excluded by law.
• Do not use the app to break the law or to infringe someone else’s rights.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to any service the app relies on.
• Do not use the app on behalf of someone else without their knowledge, or log another person’s health information without their consent.

Purchases and subscriptions

Any paid features, in-app purchases or subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through the App Store, and are billed to your Apple ID.

Free trial. Macro Fitness offers a three-day free trial. Unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts automatically into a paid subscription and your Apple ID is charged.

Subscriptions then renew automatically unless you turn renewal off at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel a subscription in Settings on your device, under your name, then Subscriptions.

Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue App Store refunds directly.

Availability and updates

We work to keep Macro Fitness stable and supported, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features may be added, changed or removed, and the app may require a current version of iOS or watchOS to keep working. If the app is ever discontinued we will say so on this website or on the App Store listing.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Macro Fitness is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, that its calculations will suit your circumstances, or that your data will never be lost.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost data, or for any outcome relating to your health, diet or training. Our total liability arising out of your use of the app is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Some places do not allow these exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Apple

This agreement is between you and NovaForge Studios, LLC — not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for Macro Fitness or its content, and has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for it.

If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to a legal requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.

Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
